Now that summer has finally arrived, the transitioning between winter and summer colours usually change. What use to be dark, warm colours are now bright luminous colours. This trend has seen probably the past 2 years. But why? I’ve asked myself this over the past few weeks and I some how feel that winter colours are here to stay!
I still see myself rocking a burgundy top, wine lip and ox blood nail polish. I love this colour because it can be worn all year round. Its so feminine and bold.
If you would like to remain on the trendy side of life, then one trend that offers this colour for the summer is the floral hippie trend. Mixed with nudes like khaki and sandstone.
About this look
I wore this burgundy top with jeans in the most obvious way, because I love how the colour pops on the denim. This leather cut-out jacket is my wardrobe essential now and I cannot let go of it! On the arms there’s a slight mix of fabric between the leather and stretch cotton just to give it that snug feel. My cut out heels have also become a wardrobe fav!
